We are a mobile mechanic services company that seeks to deliver convenience and excellence through innovative solutions to motor vehicle servicing.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We act as an aggregator between motor mechanics and vehicle owners by providing a platform that seamlessly handle the processes involved in motor vehicle servicing. We work with qualified and professional mechanics that are trained to deliver excellent service to our customers. In return, we provide recurring business to our contracted mechanics. We are flexible due to our mobile nature, and we track all vehicle service history in order to predict future vehicle servicing needs and assist our customers to plan for these services.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Motor vehicle users experience unnecessary vehicle servicing inconveniences such as unfair service kit costs, spare parts fraud, exaggerated faults and delayed servicing when dealing with unscrupulous mechanics. The users end up losing the time they need to focus on their business/work. We are aiming to solve this problem.

My partner, Phillip Munemo is a qualified class one motor mechanic (to include diesel & tractor mechanics) with over a decade worth of post apprenticeship experience. He has worked as a head mechanic for 4 different companies in Zimbabwe from 2008. He currently heads up a team of 4 mechanics, 2 of which are still under training.

06.08 Justification for my startup

A lot of people already service their cars through different channels. We are offering convenience, efficient and excellent service delivery through responding to a need that has not been solved by businesses that operate in this space. In a nutshell we are seeking to improve this service by giving the customers liberty of choice and access to otherwise complicated information about their vehicles.

Our main competitors are established motor vehicle service garages, freelance mechanics, Automobile Association & Road Angels. Our competitive advantage is on efficient service delivery through our mobile nature and assisting our customers to plan for their future motor vehicle servicing needs. We also offer free vehicle diagnosis upon customer initiation.

11.05 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Yes, I always try to support female entrepreneurs who are active in service delivery particularly with regards to food and vegetables businesses in my community because I was raised by a woman who was into active entrepreneurship and that impacted our education growing up.
