01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

GEOAP is a Moroccan GreenTech startup founded in December 2021 by Yassine Hammoud and Youssef Allali, two PhD students passionate about geosciences and advanced technologies. We specialize in geospatial technologies, using satellite remote sensing and artificial intelligence to address environmental challenges. We develop applications like GeoTrends, which enables real-time monitoring and analysis of hydroclimatic conditions. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions for natural resource management, optimization of agricultural practices, and land planning, while promoting sustainable development.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem we aim to solve is the inefficient management of environmental resources, particularly water, due to a lack of precise and real-time data. Climate change, rapid urbanization, and intensive agriculture present significant challenges for water resource management and environmental preservation. GeoTrends, our application, aims to provide accurate hydroclimatic data and spatial analyses to improve water resource management, optimize agricultural practices, and support sustainable land planning.

GeoTrends is aimed primarily at agricultural enterprises, water management agencies, forestry companies, and financial institutions. They’ll pay for GeoTrends because it empowers them to make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks associated with water scarcity.
