Describe your project or startup in a few words
An ecosystem which comprises of livestock and poultry farming, fish farming, crop farming, and ultimately a farmers market or mall where people can get farm fresh organic products, and residential units as a vacation destination on the farm.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
A recycling process is practiced on the farm with the pig dropping processed to compost and worm feed for the crops and fish and local poultry feed. The water drained from the ponds are collected and used for irrigation on the crop farm. A five acre crop farm made of cocoa and oranges, cassava and maize goes a long way to cut down the cost of feed drastically. The larger vision is to own at least 200 acre land as an all purpose land to house the many dreams we have in the budding stage. An ownership of green housing projects is also up there in terms of expansion and it will be the major form of crop farming practice we will engage in. Have guest rooms for visitors looking to take a break to relax and eat fresh foods, and also people who would want to visit for rehabilitation.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
In Africa, Ghana specifically, planting and harvesting is done on a seasonal basis. When there is in-season, there comes massive supply of goods where as off-season creates a massive shortage in produce. Most Africans abroad mostly wish to eat home grown foods, exporting to individual customers abroad will help solve this. A warehousing facility to store yields which are in excess and kept in a colder temperature. Having the means of providing farm yield all year round goes a long way in cutting short the shortages we face in off-season periods. There is also the issue of unemployment for the youth. The major problem identified is that agribusiness is not attractive to the youth due to misinformation and past perceptions. Our past generation made it seem like a tedious job involving hoes and cutlass, not far from the truth but there has been massive technological improvements to make work easy which most do not know. There will be enrollment programs to educate to youth to explore.

02.01.02 No poverty - Justification for my startup
we have currently employed only two people, and have tried to make their lives better at least, and when we reach our goals, we will be able to employ hundreds more and also help willing people with our produce to sell. The system we intend to run, is to have an agreement with them, to set up shops, while we provide their initial stock, capped at a certain level, and have them pay that off, six to twelve months, but stock replacements would be paid from the sales they make after the initial supplies are sold to replace it. This way, we would create a source of income for people.

Ghana is a farming community and there are many people into farming. There is always produce on the markets, in abundance during harvest seasons, and the few farmers with irrigation systems, profit off the market during shortage periods. We intend to be a constant supplier of food all year round, by storing the excess produced, to supply without hiking prices. Also with the holiday destination, there are so many places, but non that has a calm serene natural environment and will give the foods we'd serve and the activities and experiences one will have, when they visit our farm to stay
