Afroedged Tours Ghana is a tour company aimed at curating memorable travel experiences for individuals seeking adventure, relaxation, cultural exploration and most importantly, we make sure that every client's needs are met as every trip is personalised. We also provide insights into travel and tourism in general to fellow tour operators but most importantly, individuals seeking to explore our satisfy their travel quests. Our YouTube channel is dedicated to not only showcasing the beautiful sites we visit but share knowledge that can benefit our audience. It's our way of giving back to our loyal followers.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Tourism in the travel industry is increasing. As a period Ghanaian and a learned person in tourism, I felt a strong edge to promote our amazing landscapes by encouraging our citizens to appreciate our own natural beauty and not wait for foreigners to come before we do.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).
Our company seeks to bridge the gap between the tourists and our tourist destinations. We also take care of all travel related components such as transfers, accommodation, transportation, meals etc in order to reduce stress and allow more room for relaxation since most tourists go on trips or travel to escape the hustles of work and life. Basically, we take the load of having to research destinations, look for best deals and discounts on your own.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Our target audience is every citizen of Ghana as well as foreigners who wish to explore Ghana. Our services range from family trips, adventurous travels, cultural tours, culinary tours etc and hence isn't limited to a particular group. We believe every individual deserves to embrace true nature, relax and busk in nature beauty.

Some of the trips we organise are wellness travels. This is focused on creating an atmosphere that is conducive enough for our clients to relax as they engage in wellness activities such as spa for relaxation, fitness exercises to maintain a healthy body and holistic traditional herbal treatments.

The travel industry is a competitive one and hence there are a lot of companies providing the same services. One thing we realized is that, not all of them focus on eco friendly destinations and most of them do not provide insights into what their clients or potential clients should expect and what they should know. That's one area I believe we have a competitive advantage in.
