Umms Natural Drinks is a pioneering startup that combines eco-friendly production with innovative waste management. Currently, Three organic beverages are being produced, sobolo, tamarind and millet drinks, using locally sourced ingredients. We plan on harnessing the organic waste generated during production to fuel our anaerobic digester, producing biogas and electricity. this closed-loop system minimises our carbon footprint, reduces energy costs, and creates a nutrient-rich fertilizer for local farmers. our mission is to revolutionize the beverage industry with sustainable practices, supporting a healthier planet and community.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Umms Natural Drinks is trying to solve significant environmental impact in the beverage industry, particularly: 1. Food waste and by-products generated during production 2. Greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption and waste management 3. Reliance on non-renewable energy sources 4. Lack of sustainable practices in the industry By converting organic waste into bio-gas and electricity, the project aims to reduce waste, decrease carbon emissions and promote sustainable energy, setting new standards for environmentally responsible beverage production

Umms Natural Drinks offers several major benefits: 1. Energy Self-Sufficiency: Generates electricity and heat from biogas, reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources and lowering energy costs. 3. Closed-Loop Production: Converts organic waste into valuable resources (biogas, electricity, and fertilizer), creating a sustainable and regenerative production cycle. Additionally, the project supports local agriculture, promotes eco-friendly practices, and sets a new standard for responsible beverage production.
