The ABAMS Young Leather Crafters Program helps young people aged 10-25 learn leather crafting and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on training, we aim to foster creativity and equip them with skills for future opportunities.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
The ABAMS Young Leather Crafters Program is dedicated to empowering young individuals aged 10-25 by teaching them the art of leather crafting. Through hands-on workshops, participants not only learn valuable crafting skills but also gain insights into entrepreneurship and innovation. Our program is designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and provide practical experience that can open doors to future opportunities. By blending traditional craftsmanship with modern entrepreneurial skills, we aim to inspire the next generation of artisans and business leaders. Our goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where young people can explore their passions, develop new skills, and realize their potential.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem we aim to solve with the ABAMS Young Leather Crafters Program is the lack of practical skills and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people in our community. Many young individuals have creative potential and aspirations but lack access to hands-on training and mentorship that can help them turn their ideas into reality. Traditional education often doesn't provide the practical skills needed for self-employment or small business creation, leaving many youths unprepared for the job market. Our program addresses this gap by teaching leather crafting and entrepreneurship, empowering participants with valuable skills, confidence, and a pathway to economic independence. We believe that by equipping young people with these tools, we can foster a more innovative and self-sufficient future for our community.
