Loozeele Excellence Academy empowers marginalized youth and women in Ghana through quality education and vocational training. Our innovative programs foster self-sufficiency, gender equality, and community development, creating lasting impact and futures.

The Loozeele Excellence Academy is a pioneering early childhood educational center located in Sherigu in the upper east region of Ghana, that provides a comprehensive teaching and learning to children from nursery through primary 6. Founded in 2023 by Teni Agana, the academy is dedicated to providing quality education to children from marginalized communities. Through a holistic approach to learning, the academy fosters creativity, critical thinking, and leadership skills among its students. With a focus on STEM education and innovative teaching methods, including the integration of educational technology such as tablets and laptops, Loozeele Excellence Academy trains and empowers students in robotics, educational software and programming languages such as python, nurturing their creativity, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Today, we are establishing a state-of-the-art 100 capacity computer laboratory and ICT learning hub to provide access to all students.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem being addressed is the significant disparity in access to quality education in the Upper East Region of Ghana, particularly in the Bolgatanga area. This region faces numerous challenges that hinder educational equity, including poverty, inadequate infrastructure, and cultural barriers. These factors contribute to low enrollment rates, especially for early childhood education, and perpetuate cycles of poverty and social exclusion. Additionally, the traditional educational approaches in this region prioritize rote memorization over critical thinking and practical skills, further disadvantageous to students in their future endeavors. Limited exposure to technology exacerbates this issue, leaving students unprepared for the digital age. Addressing these challenges is crucial for fostering economic growth, reducing poverty, and promoting social inclusion. Loozeele is pivotal in providing equitable access to quality education, thereby enabling sustainable development.
