The sustainable fashion industry is experiencing significant growth driven by increasing consumer awareness about environmental and social impacts. With a market size globally valued at USD 7.45 billion in 2023 and expected to reach nearly USD 12.94 billion by 2030 (according to maximizemarketresearch.com), the sector is characterized by eco-friendly and ethically responsible practices. Consumers, particularly Gen Z, are prioritizing sustainability in their fashion choices, driving demand for eco-conscious clothing and accessories. Key trends include upcycling, rental services, and local sourcing, all aimed at reducing waste and promoting ethical fashion. 1.2 Vision: Our vision is to pioneer a movement towards a circular economy in fashion, where every product is designed with longevity and environmental impact in mind. 1.3 Mission: Our mission is to mitigate textile waste and promote sustainable fashion by transforming discarded clothing into high-quality eco-bags.

Ghana receives 15 million used pieces clothes a week from the West. But because they are of low quality,40% of the products are thrown out. They contaminate entire ecosystems when they end up in landfills and waterways. Report by : Isaac Kaledzi (DW).

06.08 Justification for my startup
innovates by enhancing the durability and design of current eco-friendly bags. Although comparable items already exist, our bags are distinguished by their special fusion of eco-friendly materials and traditional craftsmanship, which answers unfulfilled consumer needs for both sustainability and style. Our bags offer a modern take on traditional products by fusing modern aesthetics and utility, therefore expanding our eco-friendly product line. Our product is unique and extremely inventive since it combines historic values with modern needs. It meets the growing desire for stylish yet environmentally friendly accessories.
