VORK Technologies is a Ghana-based tech startup dedicated to eliminating unemployment by connecting job seekers with tailored employment opportunities. Our platform focuses on matching students and blue-collar workers with gigs and part-time jobs, making it easier for them to find flexible, suitable work. Our platform also provides Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with a channel to post job opportunities and find workers within a 5km radius of their business area. This localized approach ensures that businesses can quickly and efficiently fill vacancies with nearby talent. Employers benefit from our efficient recruitment tools, including candidate search and job posting services. Our unique approach integrates job placement for students and blue-collar workers, ensuring they have access to opportunities that fit their needs. Our mission is to create a thriving job market where unemployment is significantly reduced, and everyone has access to meaningful employment opportunities.

Additionally, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face challenges in quickly and efficiently filling job vacancies with local talent. Our platform connects job seekers with tailored gig and part-time job opportunities, and provides SMEs with a localized channel to post job openings and find workers within a 5km radius of their business. By leveraging advanced algorithms for accurate job matching, we streamline the employment process for both job seekers and employers, ultimately reducing unemployment and fostering economic growth.

Our core team comprises two pivotal individuals: Nana Kwame Morrison, our CEO and Co-founder, oversees business operations, product ownership, and UI/UX design. With a solid 9-year project management background spanning Software, Fintech, Banking, HR, and Oil and Gas industries, Nana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, coupled with certifications in Project Management, Finance, and Java Programming, underscores his multidisciplinary expertise. Bernard Ofori, our CTO and Co-founder, is a seasoned software engineer with over 6 years of experience, responsible for software development across all platforms. Bernard’s career journey encompasses building services like onboarding, payment, and identification integrations and evolving into a Performance Test Engineer, with valuable experiences in Quality Assurance and Solutions Architecture.
