MelAnu is a skincare and haircare brand dedicated to resolving common beauty concerns through the use of sustainably sourced, predominantly local, plant-based ingredients. At the heart of our mission is the commitment to empower women in rural areas of the Northern region by creating sustainable livelihoods through the local sourcing of our main ingredient, Shea butter. Our aim in the long run is provide them with modern machinery and training to improve production. By empowering them with job opportunities and hands-on skills, we aim to lift communities out of poverty and encourage education to reduce urban migration risks. We also work to discourage skin bleaching and promote the embrace of natural beauty, offering high-quality, ethical products that nourish and protect the skin.

MelAnu Skin is addressing several key issues: 1. Sustainable Sourcing: By directly sourcing Shea butter from rural women, we promote sustainable practices and empower local communities. 2.
