Describe your project or startup in a few words

This project is about caring for kids of busy parents. many parents especially women(mothers) loses/give up job opportunities after child birth because they have no or limited place to leave their young ones. Hence, this project.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

At kids pamper palace, we offer day care services, kids grooming services, playground and other engaging extra curriculum activities while the child is in our care. We provide a home away from home services plus accommodation services while parents go about the other duties in sound mind without the worry of where and who their wards are with. Also, we offer pick-ups and drop off services aside other essential a parent will need in relation to their child in their absence. We also have playground facility where kids parents patronise when they want to spend time with their kids and also engage and socialise with other children. we have other amazing services we are yet to add to give the wonderful experience our mission communicates.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

As a mother, i had to resign from my well paying job to cater for my new born as at 2020. Therefore, i want to solve the problem of parents especially mothers having to quit their job after childbirth while institutions and organisations loose technical and productive personnel due to this reasons. Also we want parents to have the home care even in the absence of their parents in a relaxed and friendly environment away from the traditional schools where they have to go and learn. we believe we are also building future productive leaders through our career building and guidance programs such as baking, craft making among others.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

1. Parents especially mothers having to work and pick any shift at any time of the day without any worry. Especially with parents in institutions that operates 24/7 such as hospitals. 2. Economic benefits to parents since they are able to advance their career and also save on paying for different services since we offer an inclusive services. 3. Children are getting depressed since our kind of settlement has been building walls within walls, this project help children to socialise and establish themselves after the busy school times. 4. It helps toddlers to maximise their self attainment before starting actual school. 5. The after school services help children to relate and better understand what has been taught in school due to our one on one interaction with the children.

1. Career women who are to return to work after maternity leave yet have no one to leave their children with. 2. parents who want to advance their career upon their busy schedule. 3. Parents who are unable to close early to pick their wards up after school . 4. Parents who have no children in their homes for their children to socialise with. 5. parents who work on contract basis.

I am Irene Korkor Amartey holding a Bsc Business administration from GIMPA, HND in Hotel Catering and Institution Management. I also hold certificate in basic first aid and sensory Montessori teaching aside other relevant certificates. I have experience various leadership roles starting from class rep to handling SRC positions to managing smaller and bigger institutions with remarkable achievements. I am an explorer and I love taking calculated risks. I have few successful business in my rating and also working on other projects to ensure the growth of the project. I am also a trained on ground customer service person with some of my products doing well in either their own business and others thriving in different institutions which i pride myself in.

We are ensuring that, parents have a sound mind to work in their absence in their kids lives. We are also ensuring children are well taken care of while they are away from home.

We are using waste segregation in managing our waste produced . also, we use the water from the pool to water our plants when we are changing the water and we also treat the pool thereby reducing frequent spillage of the water.

06.08 Justification for my startup

There has been a demand for nannies, and after school care for kids especial for late night workers but most service providers only look at one aspect of the need but we provide an all inclusive service where parents don't have the need to be under pressure to move from their work. Most parents are patronising the use of nannies which they are not even getting the required group they want. Most parents are not even comfortable with the nanny option due to security reasons but due to little to no choice, they employ them just for them to be able to work for their income. We have created a system where there is safety and security which we have proven to the parents with the CCTV cameras which are all over and monitored 24/7. We are advantaged because, we at a location where there are schools all around us but close at a particular time forcing parents to rush for their kids even when it inconvenience them.

Our main competitors are the school around us but due to our prompt and observation to needs, we have added extensive services such as bathing, feeding, going on shopping, baking and other essential home chores children should learn but due to their parents busy schedule, are unable to learn.
