01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Apollo72 is an audio platform by Apollo Ideas Entertainment Ltd. The platform distributes, documents, and creates environments that promote the full realization of audio experiences, when we say audio we mean music, podcasts, and live events. The platform runs on website and application, hosts a weekend radio, podcasts and curates live events that are streamed on the platform.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Equality in Distribution and affordability of documentation, I am an ardent music consumer and I would like to say the current radio stations don't cut it with equal distribution and lack in what they deliver regardless of it being abundant. Apollo72 comes with a different program that has artists and fans catered for. The country sees a rise in prices for commodities which affects other prices, with the growth of telling and documenting our stories, there is a dent in the production costs due to the fluctuating prices, the platform will create an atmosphere that encourages more and affordable documentation of the stories both live and recorded.

The listeners will experience a one-of-a-kind audio-advancing platform in the EA Block. And the artists or creators will have a more beneficial distribution partner in the region.

Artists who need a distribution and documentation partner and audio consumers who want a different experience in this case music lovers like myself, and listeners who want to experience a not everyday live event.

The platform will deliver mindblowing live audio experiences in and out of the studio.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Radio stations in the region. For us to stand out we have to deliver a higher level of programming.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

I hold an online fundraiser every year where I DJ for 30 hours. During the 30-hour set, I encourage people listening in to give to the art and music therapy program started by Kasese Restoration Center a CBO headed by a female, and Apollo Ideas Ent. All the proceeds help with the therapy activities.
