Rural Agribusiness Developers Ltd (RAD) is an emerging Agri-tech startup committed to revolutionizing agriculture in Kapelebyong District, Uganda, and beyond. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, including the AKORION app.

RAD's mission is to bridge the gap between farmers and essential agricultural inputs by providing convenient access to quality products and expert guidance, ultimately fostering productivity, profitability, and food security in rural communities.

Limited access of Quality Agricultural inputs and extension services in Rural Areas.

Agri-tech Integration: By harnessing the power of the AKORION app, RAD distinguishes itself as an innovative Agri-tech startup, offering farmers a seamless and efficient way to access agricultural inputs and information. - Convenience and Accessibility: RAD's digital platform provides farmers with 24/7 access to a wide range of products and services, eliminating the barriers of distance and time associated with traditional distribution channels. - Personalized Support: Through the AKORION app, RAD offers tailored solutions and expert guidance, addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by individual farmers.

With over 80% of Uganda's population engaged in agriculture, the market potential for Agri-tech solutions like RAD is significant. By targeting underserved rural communities like those in Kapelebyong District, RAD aims to capture a sizable market share and drive meaningful impact on agricultural productivity and livelihoods.

Emaru John Julius, holds a diploma in Animal production, certificate in Sustainable Agriculture and value chain development, he worked with Catholic relief services as field based facilitator, worked for 2 years as Field officer with Nile Agro industries, implementing contract farming project in rural areas.

Ezy Agric is a main potential competitor, but the difference we have is all our stores will be located in Rural Areas, other than them that operate in towns and cities attracting higher transport costs and time consuming in delivering the products ordered. Also our application will have local languages that the last mile farmers will understand
