we are recycling kampala waste into nutrient rich organic fertilizer to create opportunities for youth and increasing farmers production
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
In Uganda, the pressing issue revolves around high youth 80% and women 90% unemployment rates, compounded by limited access to quality education, perpetuating exclusion and hindering overall development, the agricultural sector faces despite robust demand for organic crops, and youth in agriculture not rising because fertilizer prices escalating from 1,000 to 5,000 Ugandan shillings per kg, deterring the adoption of sustainable organic farming practices. latent potential lies within untapped youth and women talent, alongside abundant underutilized waste materials like Kampala's daily 50-tonnes of waste output. As an innovative company, we recycle waste into cost-effective, sustainable organic fertilizer to combat unemployment, enhance training, and empower Ugandan women and youth.
