The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama Investment fund is a pool of money that is to be invested in the Uganda Refinery Project and The distribution of Gas in Uganda. This is going to be an index fund which is a combination a Mutual Fund an Exchange Traded Fund

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama Investment Fund is part of The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama Project although still in the pipeline. The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama is a Sensitisation initiative that is looking at including people with Special Needs and working poor population of Uganda in the Oil and Gas activities of Uganda through the Ugandan Geo-Docudrama Investment Fund. Of over 8 billion people 1.2 billion are PWDs, of the entire World Population as stated by World Bank. Of this population, 52% are Women, part of this Population is Ugandan. In Uganda of the 45 million people estimates, 51% are women, today 6 out of 10 women in Uganda are single mothers, 4 out of the 6 are working poor and depend on Biomass as their capacity to cook but, with the Ugandan 300,000 tons per year of Gas to be produced, we can significantly reduce this Biomass based cooking to Gas cooking as well Improving employment access. Part of the above population is again People with special needs, productive and effective

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Reducing dirty cooking and transitioning to clean cooking in industries and in homes. From Uganda's Energy Transition plan up to 2050, clean cooking will be an amalgamation of Hydroelectric energy, solar energy, Bio fuels, geothermal energy and Gas. With Uganda's gas reserves, industries and homes can be powered, but infrastructure to achieve this is not available. The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama investment fund will have to provide the necessary infrastructure and resources to improve access to Gas by homes and Industries in an affordable state. Environmental protection from increased use of Gas in industries and in homes. Today heavy industries accelerate their energy supply from Biomass mainly heavy wood Improving access to financial resources specifically for the Ugandan Government Clean cooking methodology to rural dwellers Employment access to the working poor population of Uganda. This is to help diversify gas flaring, the World bank is advocating for zero gas flaring to reduce wastage, this will improve the country's image with World bank group. Creating employment opportunities whi will contribute to Reducing pressure on the Government Reducing marginalisation of people with special needs all over Uganda. Recognition and respect world wide

The Ugandan Population is over 70% Village dwellers, this implies a large number of people living below the minimum standards of living and earning less than a dollar a day hence poverty, with an interest, this category of people is targeted as among the main scope to be employed during the implementation phase of the Investment fund. 6 out of 10 people with special needs are looked at as people who cannot do anything in our societies therefore making them marginalised and out of the supply and demand chains, the project is looking at phasing out this mindset through empowering this category of people

This is to show the entire world what potential is put aside and neglected and the productivity this category of people can offer. The world renowned Scientist Stephen Hawking was extremely disabled and sick but he solved the World's biggest Physics theory to understand the formation of the World, BigBang theory.

With the fact that the investment fund is looking at distribution of Gas, this is a clean cooking source of energy. Approximately 1 million ha cover of trees are lost due to Charcoal burning and timber production, with an increased use of gas, this can significantly and greatly reduce. We are looking at this because the environment is a whole body not just the Ugandan Environment

05.08 Justification

A 5 billion Dollar African bank is to be created, Over 8 billion Dollars are to be invested in the oil and Gas industry of Uganda. Uganda has an economy with a GDP of over 48billion dollars. All these are large sums of money. Today Uganda is still looking for Investment, not only Uganda but also other developing Countries as well. The Ugandan Geo-Docudrama Investment Fund is to help the Ugandan Government pool moneys that will be invested and boost the Oil and Gas activities currently on Going. Many economists predicted a failure by Uganda to finance its projects but with this Fund, we can turn tables. The fund is following 3 SDGs including reduced inequalities, zero hunger and reduced poverty

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Gas Distribution Companies International Oil Companies, IOCs With Gas distribution, In Uganda, companies are putting their concentration on selling Fuels and neglecting Gas. With the current World Gas Demand trends, I think, Companies are neglecting the demand for CLEAN COOKING by the local people. The Nigerian Government declared a decade of Gas that is 2020 to 2030 with an aim of making Nigerians dependent on gas Inorder to promote clean cooking. Uganda is no different, today in my home town, 2 out of 10 people are willing to listen to me concerning use of Gas. For starters this is a large ratio. There's a neglect on what approach is used by IOCs in distributing their gas. I am considering employing People with special needs regardless of their disability and Working poor individuals
