Wona helps car owners make informed decisions regarding fuel expenditure by providing secure, efficient, and user-friendly platforms that capture, organize, and analyze data.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Wona is a platform designed to empower car owners(individuals and organizations) with relevant data regarding fuel expenditure enabling them to make informed decisions. For example, 1) Show the car owner the nearby petrol stations and their current fuel prices so that he/she can easily decide where to refuel from. 2) Capture, organize, analyze, and provide a report at the end of desired periods regarding fuel expenditure so that he/she can budget accordingly. It will comprise of both mobile and web applications where the users will go and create accounts.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

1) Fuel data management. Traditional Methods of managing fuel consumption such as manual log books and manual data entry into spreadsheets are labor-intensive, error-prone, and lack real-time insights. This hinders individuals and organizations from accurately tracking their fuel usage, identifying patterns, and making informed decisions to minimize operational costs. 2) Where is the next petrol station and what are the current fuel prices Furthermore, drivers are often frustrated by the lack of a centralized and easily accessible resource to simultaneously find the location of the nearest petrol station and the current fuel prices offered there. This can lead to wasted time and fuel as drivers search for stations and compare prices manually.

Enable drivers to locate the nearest petrol stations based on their current location. Enable drivers to view the current fuel prices offered at their nearby petrol stations. Enable car owners to track fuel consumption. Provides real-time insights into fuel expenditure to help car owners optimize fuel usage and reduce operational costs. Provide advertisement to partner petrol stations. The petrol stations that will partner with us will be made known to people who will be looking for nearby petrol stations

1. Individuals: Drivers who own personal vehicles, especially those who travel frequently or for work. People who manage fleets of personal vehicles (e.g., taxi drivers, delivery drivers). 2. Organizations: Companies with vehicle fleets (e.g., transportation companies, logistics firms, delivery services) Businesses with employees who use company vehicles 3. Petrol stations. The petrol stations that will partner with us.

05.02 The product we envision creating represents an entirely new type of product because currently there are no automated methods used to get the nearby petrol stations and their current prices. 05.03. The product we envision creating could be described as a new technology because currently to know the nearby petrol stations you to know the area very well, if you are new to the area you won't know any petrol stations near you. With our new product, you don't need to know the area very well to know the nearby petrol stations. 0.5.06 The product we envision creating responds to a demand or need that has not been satisfied by other products because currently there is no way to know the petrol stations in the area when you a new in that area and their current fuel prices.
