Describe your project or startup in a few words

A medium size health unit with a capacity of 10beds admission,with modern laboratory ready to help in diagnosis of the common conditions in our locality,and ready to serve the local population at the cheapest price in the community

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

I want to start a medium size health which could offer the cheapest services to the local community with services including outpatient care, inpatient care, laboratory services,free hiv services,free family planning services, immunization services. All these service I would wish to have them under one roof,with the land already secured for the project,the health will be in position to have a capacity of at least 10 beds,the laboratory being in position to at least perform the baseline investigations including a complete blood count, malaria test,hiv test,blood sugar screening,typhoid test, urinalysis test,plus many other serological infectious diseases test. The health unit will also be in position to have a scan to aid in sonography investigation

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Trying to make sure that the ordinary person received the best medical care services which many people in the local community can not afford, this will reduce burden of preventable causes death and co-modibidty in the community,not only that but it will increase the productivity of the ordinary Ugandan in that area through participation in economics government programs as well as their own initiatives.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

The first advantage is every person in the community will receive the best medical care,the second benefit is that everyone in the community will be entitled with the cheapest medical care services,and finally some locals in the community with have jobs without discrimination

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The ordinary person who can not afford to pay huge sums of money being charged by most of the private health units in the area.

First partner is my mom who gave me the space where am going to start the project,the the second partner is an accountant working with some private company in kampala ready to aid in areas of financing,the third partner is my sister,she is a human resource at a certain private organisation in iganga,the forth partner is me myself a clinician at a private hospital in mukono town ready to head the medical people,and the fifth partner is a colleague a laboratory technician in a private hospital in mukono,he will be in charge of the laboratory services
