PEARL CARBON is an Eco friendly company that will be at the heart of manufacturing environmentally friendly products using caron offsetting methods, recycled material ,with minimal waste and sustainable sourcing! and cleaning out the pollutants.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The project is an environmentally friendly manufacture that will strike at the heart of all pollution mainly focusing on the eradication of avoidable polythene products in our society. setting up our plants in different rural areas to provide jobs to the locals, not only will our products increase environmental safety, we shall allow companies to advertise on them making them more affordable for all business owners and the public. our methods of production will ensure we produce goods for a long time without endangering the communities that welcome our manufacturing sites. we shall make advertisement for all companies cheaper and reach a higher audience. 70% of all our proceeds will be allocated to carbon offsetting projects like renewable energy and water well drilling in various communities. our main goal might be to save the environment but our end goal is to transform rural areas into self sustaining eco systems of renewable energy.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

POLLUTION in all its many forms has to be stopped. plastic bags and polythene products have a long lasting impact on our environment. not only does it take them years to decompose but they release toxic substances into the soil, when burnt they are released into the atmosphere. the excess use of plastics and polythene my lead to cancerous diseases. this is too both humans and animals as many farmers have lost live stock to these harmful products we are going to replace. in order to protect our water bodies and marine life we need to attack this problem now and PEARL CARBON will spear head these efforts lobbying for the government to ban polythene ad plastics and replacing them with better safer options. in the end create safer and better eco systems that we shall be proud to live in.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

the products provided by PEARL CARBON will be safer for the environment and the people using them. they will be easy to dispose of and will not harm any other living organisms in the ecosystem. they will make advertising for both small scale and large scale businesses cheaper and more efficient.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

our services will be extended to businesses of all sizes from local shops to the grocery stores supermarkets fast food producers street food vendors and advertising space will be open to all companies and individuals priority offered to those that share our same values of protecting and cleaning the environment. the targeted beneficiaries are rural communities, unemployed youth struggling businesses and so many more.

Nakyira Cindrella is 25 year old graduate from Makerere University with a bachelor's degree in community phycology has works in Sales at Weza Fruit limited . she has incredible people skills has experience advertising and selling products. she has access to many mentors that will lend helping hands to the betterment of this project. Ken Reagan Muganzi is a 24 year old student of civil engineering at Kyambogo University Has experience running businesses starting with his printery business at school and their home business. he is a hard worker and will be important to the project, Yaddah Wanjiku has excellent leadership skills great social skills and is a master in the media world with great connections that can really promote the products we produce and help us raise awareness about pollution and volunteers to help out in cleaning the eco system

as a company our policies will include positions for females, host seminars where our female partners will encourage girls to stay in school. we plan on manufacturing sanitary pads and distribute them freely to the less fortunate girls out there. create sports centers in the communities we operate to increase girl's involvement in sports. and with 2 female partners in this venture i believe interests of the female gender will be greatly voiced and worked on

05.08 Justification

our product has a global market endless client list. so the customers to consume the product are everywhere. we are improving on all the previous products pushed out to the people like paper bags cups and plates. there is a demand for the product that only we might be able to meet since we have methods to cut costs and provide a better product at affordable rates. we shall have new designs and models of the products making ours superior to the ones out there. and when it comes to cleaning up the pollutants out methods will also prove superior and safer than the rest of the ones being used by our competitors. the pearl of Africa deserves a product that will pioneer change not only in Uganda but trough out Africa as well

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

potential competitors include Yoon takeout paper bags , TAANO paper bags TAK designers, IMAK group and crane paper bags. these are already standing projects that i admire but all lack certain concepts on how to maximize the market they have. unlike our competitors our products will have new designs and we shall introduce new purpose to the industry. im already talking to a few districts and when our products are out they will gladly switch off from polythene and plastics and i hope to lobby for the whole nation to make the switch. unlike those companies i have mentioned we wont be limited to just paper bags. we shall make cups plates bio degradable packaging for milk, water and soft drinks and it shall all be affordable since we shall use our plain bags for various business advertisements. we shall also be cleaning up the pollutants we are combating be it on land and in the water bodies. our goal is far beyond paper bags and clearly we shall be a superior product to any other.
