05.08 Justification
This project offers a platform to enable anyone use their car as a taxi or find people doing the same, this is what car pooling is, something that is not yet occuring on a big scale in the country. It is similar to the current operation of taxis in the country but safer and one has more control over which driver they allow to take them.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Main potential competitors include the current taxi business, ride sharing platforms like Uber and Safecar, boda bodas, and existing car pooling apps like Safarishare. What makes tap a ride stand out is the control over choosing who to use, the interface that enables one know the history of which car ride they are pooling, the freedom of becoming a driver or a normal user and the safety promised by validating users and drivers.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
