The project aims to revolutionize everyday consumption through circular designed packaging. This has the potential to reduce plastic waste, Conserve resources especially natural resources. The project focuses on three pillars, Reuse, Refill and Repair.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The project stands on a business model of three key pillars: Reuse, Refill and Repair to achieve zero waste. Through the provision of reusable containers, foldable bags both cloth and knitted made by women ,girls and youth sold at grocery stores and supermarkets so that customers come with them every shopping. Establishment of Refill based subscription services and in- store dispensing systems with loyalty points for customers who engage with the refill services, For Example Drinking water dispensers positioned near shops and in- stores to sell drinking water to customers by filling their already owned drinking water bottles. Refill stations in partner stores to allow customers to refill on the go. Establish repair workshops where damaged items can be fixed rather than discarded in the environment. The aim of the project is serve Business, Community and Environment, all depend on each other's health. Also, the aim is to fuel a Green economy that creates sustainable jobs.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Continued plastic pollution due to the over use of single - use plastic that is a major cause of damage to marine life, contamination of Ecosystems and landfills. And with Cities expanding both in size and population waste pollution is only projected to increase. This leads to a number of challenges, Clearing forest land for landfills, contaminated air leading to respiratory diseases, Plastic that leaks in to sources of water for public consumption hence damaging public health, proper dispose of waste in land meant for agriculture, Degrading water bodies and wild animal habitants which further damages tourism of the country. The linear economy is not sustainable.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

Reduction of plastic pollution in cities and towns with a Circular economy. Reusable containers and bags are multi use or can be used for many transactions. Same with Refilling stations, customers refill on the go and after consuming the product for example drinking water or juice their keep their container through refill based subscription services return to their nearby station for reuse. This enables customers , businesses and local council to save financial resources on waste collection and management. Emissions are reduced due the creation of little to no waste for burning. This encourages quality air for breathing which directly uplifts good public health. Conservation of natural resources is paramount and takes center stage. Marine life is maintained with no waste pollution dumped in water bodies, Forest trees keep standing with no need of land clears for landfills hence maintain wild life and promotion of Tourism.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

Farmers, Tourists, product designers, businesses, City Councils and Citizens, all the above are bond to benefit from the project. With no waste pollution of natural bodies like lakes, rivers and forests tourists can manage to travel and explore nature with no disturbances. Crop farmers can manage to grow Food crops in health soils that are free from contaminates like plastic waste hence increase of yields and profitability. Animal farmers can manage to provide clean water to their animals. City councils will manage to keep the cities clean on low budgets with no waste management and collection to worry about hence improvement in service delivery to the people their serve. Partner businesses will manage to transition their customer to sustainable living hence increasing their wellbeing.

Bwambale walter is good at marketing, communication and sales and bears experience on half a decade. Hajat Hadija is the woman we work with to sew the reusable cloth bags. She is creative and innovative. She has three decades in tailoring.

With sustainable incomes of the women and youth participating in the making of the different solutions for polluted free environment their can able provide financial resources to themselves and their family members to acquire quality education. This helps to secure a bright future of a skilled community that further promotes development. Even through making of the various solutions the women and youth learn a lot of skills in terms creativity and innovation.

The startup aims to reduce waste pollution per person as it exists for every one to have a positive impact on biodiversity as the transact and consume everyday.

There is no waste created to be dumped in water bodies hence further development of the fishing sector and tourism.

The project idea is unique because it emphasises redesigning products,packaging and a system for Reuse, Refill and Repair.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

My potential competitors are businesses that sell products that are single use that are linear in nature that create waste pollution every after a transaction and damage the environment for example Polythene bag makers and sellers,Plastic drinking water sellers while as with My business we are unique by selling Products for multiple use that circulate in nature through Reuse, Refill services that preserve biodiversity hence promoting Public health and Tourism.

Yes, I support female entrepreneurs. For example the lady my startup works with is a seamstress and she sews our Reusable foldable cloth bags.
