01.01 Describe your project in more detail

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Finding products and services offered by local sellers can be a tedious task. Traditional methods involve physically visiting stores, calling businesses, or searching through scattered online listings. This can be: Challenging: Limited information about nearby offerings makes it difficult to find specific products or compare prices. Frustrating: The effort and time involved in searching can be discouraging, leading customers to abandon their search. Time-consuming: Inefficient searching methods prevent customers from making quick and informed decisions.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
gidler.shop aims to streamline the process of discovering and purchasing products and services from nearby sellers by offering a web-based point-of- sale (POS) marketplace. This platform will provide: Centralized Listing: A location-based platform where local sellers can upload their product and service information, including descriptions, pictures, and prices. Easy Search: Customers can browse offerings based on location, category, and keywords, simplifying product discovery. Direct Communication: Built-in communication tools allow customers to directly contact sellers for inquiries or negotiations.
