Piped cooking cheap gas 4 all
Describe your project or startup in a few words
Provide affordable piped gas to households by harnessing the energy potential of organic waste from dumpsters. Collect organic waste from dumpsters and transport to a processing facility. Utilize anaerobic digestion technology to convert waste
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
The Waste-to-Cooking Gas (WCG) Initiative is a sustainable energy project that converts organic waste from dumpsters into piped cooking gas for households. The project involves Collecting organic waste from dumpsters and transporting it to a processing facility. Utilizing anaerobic digestion technology to break down waste into biogas (methane and carbon dioxide). Purifying and compressing biogas to meet pipeline quality standards. Establishing a pipeline network to distribute gas to households at community levels. We aim to provide affordable cooking gas to 10,000 households in the first phase - Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75% and tress burnt down to provide burning charcoal - Minimize waste sent to landfills and trenches - Create jobs and stimulate the local economy The WCG Initiative promotes a circular economy, reduces environmental impacts, and improves energy access for households. Eliminating the middle man and delivery burden
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem is the lack of access to affordable and sustainable cooking gas for households, while also addressing the environmental impacts of organic waste management. Specifically like high cooking gas costs for households insufficient waste management infrastructure - Environmental pollution from organic waste decomposition - Greenhouse gas emissions from waste and energy production. By converting waste into cooking gas, I aim to create a sustainable, affordable, and environmentally friendly energy solution. Here, eliminating the coasts and time spent on transportation of gas cylinders.
