01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Drive Fix is an online platform where users do shopping for car spare parts from different trusted vendors, Users can also request for mechanic services from mechanical Experts. Vendors can create accounts and upload there products and services. Our platform is still under development and the link I have shared below is for our staging server with Test Data.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In my country Uganda I realized people including my self are facing a big problem where by its not easy to get right spare parts for your car without being cheated, This platform will help these people to get right spare parts by filtering through the system. Users will also be able to choose a mechanic with a great review from other clients, this will help both User to get better service and Mechanic to improve on their skills in the area of specialization.

The project is targeting people with cars, all brands, Vendors who sell spare parts, Mechanics who offer services.

A city with free car breakdowns is one of our goals, its frustrating when a car breakdowns and causes traffic jam in the city. But here a user will be able to get a mechanic instantly and as well order spare parts online

I will give an example, in my country Toyota brand is more considered when purchasing a car since its spare parts is available on market. But on Drive Fix all spare parts for all brands will be available thus people will start going for other brands, this will increase on production and create competition for proper services

05.08 Justification

This project is solving a big problem where by clients are being cheated since most have limited knowledge on what it takes to get a car repaired, the costs of spare parts.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

My competitors are called SpareWo, however for them they only sell their own spare parts, they don't have the vendor option as far as I know and as well don't offer mechanical services from other mechanics.
