The poultry project is all about keeping of birds such as chicken . These chicken are reared for purposes for eggs and as well as their meat . . The wastes from also these birds can be used as manure in the gardens that enhances the growth of plants

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

This project of poultry, includes rearing of birds like chicken . These are reared for eggs and also meat production . This project , at the start it includes keeping of the birds of one day old to the time where they will be consumed , so that’s for those of meat production. Then those for eggs , the chicken would have reached to a stage of laying so each day they lay an egg . These eggs are sold and also some are kept for incubation so that they hatch and give rise to chics using the incubation machines that can provide all the necessary conditions for the eggs to hatch such as warmth, light , oxygen etc . Then the chics are then reared or some can be given to other farmers who wouldn’t have managed to afford to buy the incubation machines or also those wouldn’t afford to meet the conditions for the eggs to hatch

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The promote the food security and enhance the people’s welfare in the community , this also could also give rise to the healthy living population in a community since the end products of these poultry are rich in proteins that is an essential nutrient in the body . In a long run this can also improve on the standards of living for the people since most of these products from poultry can be sold hence being a source of income and some of the people getting employment through being the farm attendants in at the poultry farms . Along side the other problem it would also help out the farmers start up poultry farming after being given chics of one day old since most of the farmers may not be able to afford the incubation machines or manage the incubation conditions to give rise to chics

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1. This will enable farmers who have desires to start up poultry farms but they can afford to buy the incubation machines or can’t manage to acquire the conditions for incubation so in starting up this project the local farmers are able to get chics to rear to start up their poultry farming. 2. This project enables the community people to enhance their health lives since the products from these poultry such as eggs are a source of proteins that enables one’s body to grow 3. The project in a long run it’s a source of employment enhance improving on the standards of living of the community members since there are farm attendants that are needed to take care of the large number of poultry 4, This also promotes food security , thereby the community people won be lacking what to feed their families 5. This project also promotes agricultural diversification since the farmers will now adopt to the poultry farming with it associated benefits

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

1. The beneficiaries are the first of all the farmers who aren’t able to equip themselves with these incubation machines or those that can’t meet the conditions necessary for the eggs to hatch yet they have desired to start up a poultry farming business 2 The young jobless people , these will be able to get the jobs at the farm since people are needed to clean the poultry houses this being a source of income to them 3. The community people , these will be the customers to buy the poultry products such as eggs and also the chicken meat 4. The projects also is triggered to help out the farmers with idea of starting up of the poultry project to give exotic breeds of chics to them so that they increase on their yields

1. Partner mumble one , she is the project finance manager , audits the farm weekly and gives accountability of the needs for the projects and also being able to identify which feeds are cheaper since she studied accounting at a bachelor s degree so l trusted her . She has an experience of 3 years 2. The partners number two , this one is major aim is to advertise the business to the community members and getting viable buyers to buy the poultry products these are , eggs and the chicken meat

05.08 Justification

The project has brought about new exotic breeds of chickens that are incubated that give rise to exotic poultry which give Increase on the yields of the farmers The inventory of the biogas energy that can be used in lighting , cooking thus promotes eco friendly environment and also protecting the environment as well

The people dealing in the same business as mine What makes me stand out is that l have good customer care. I carry out market research , l treat my clients as my bosses , l give out credits to trust worthy customers
