NUTRIFIZ project is about educating people on nutrition value to eradicate consumption of nutritionally deficient food as seen by the report of WHO, 70% of Uganda population and 12% children consume the minimum acceptable diet.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
NUTRIFIZ come up with a solution to establish a social nutrious fruit and vegetables hub that offers healthier, nutrients- rich alternatives to vulnerable population and the general public. In doing so we collaborate with school and health facilities to make the public aware about the values and benefits of health food consumption.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
We are trying to solve the problem of consumption of nutritionally deficient food among the population to eradicate low life expectancy and related health issues.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Reduction of eye problem issues of short sightedness among the population. Malnutrition problems among pregnant women and children under the age of five reduction since they the most affected category in the community. Increase in the life expectancy since death caused by diseases caused by the consumption of nutritionally deficient products will be mitigated. Creating employment opportunities to the youth who will be working with our company in terms of sourcing fresh nutritious fruits and and vegetables plus also assisting in education campaigns of sensitising the public awareness about the benefits of different products with nutrition value.

Mr. Muhozi Clement is a professional business administrator with skills in marketing and idea generation. Ms. Nakirya Tracy is a statistician with experience in product development analysis. Mrs Byonabye Lilian is an account with accounting and financial skills.

Our startup is aimed at employing the young population in Uganda with the highest percentage of 85% but with job challenges, we target to employ 200 workers in the future who can earn income through our project and eradicate poverty in the community.

05.08 Justification
The uniqueness of our project is that we are targeting the vulnerable communities and low income earners who are not aware about the benefits of the local fruits and vegetables surrounding them education and sensitisation in the community
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Hub Supermarket and vegan foods Uganda, what makes us stand out from them is that we educate the public about the benefits of consuming nutrients -rich products.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes,We actively promote and showcase products and services from female-led businesses within our hub. By highlighting these enterprises, we aim to raise awareness of their contributions and encourage support from the community.
