TELEH aims to revolutionize healthcare management in Tanzania by addressing inefficiencies in health information management and care coordination. The system integrates various functionalities including EHR, appointment scheduling, billing, claims processing, and prescription management, into a single, user-friendly platform. By providing a centralized solution, TELEH enhances operational efficiency, improves patient care, and facilitates better engagement between patients and healthcare providers. The project involves rigorous development and customization, pilot testing in select healthcare facilities, comprehensive training for users, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem TELEH aims to solve is the fragmented and inefficient management of health information in Tanzania. Currently, healthcare providers face challenges with managing patient records, coordinating care, and engaging with patients due to disparate systems and manual processes. These inefficiencies lead to delays in care, increased administrative burdens, and suboptimal patient outcomes. TELEH addresses these issues by providing an integrated platform that streamlines healthcare management, reduces administrative tasks, and improves the quality of patient care.

While similar products exist, TELEH offers a novel approach by combining various functionalities—such as patient management, data analytics, and telehealth services—into a single platform. This integration represents an improvement over existing products, which often focus on singular aspects of healthcare. TELEH addresses unmet needs by enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving patient outcomes through advanced technology and user-friendly interfaces. The system's flexibility and scalability make it a valuable extension of current healthcare solutions.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Main potential competitors include existing healthcare management systems operating in hospitals like CareMd, AfyaCare, Inaya and GOT-HOMIS. TELEH stands out by offering a more integrated and user-friendly solution that combines patient management, telehealth, and data analytics in one platform. Unlike competitors, TELEH focuses on customization and scalability to meet the specific needs of healthcare providers in Tanzania.
