This will be an app in which will provide knowledge about different crops grown in Tanzania and kind of disease that are more likely to attack and causing damage also pest which are more likely to affect and solution on control methods and prevention.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

MKULIMA APP These is a Swahili name meaning farmers app in English. Most of Tanzania are peasant farmers and Agriculture is our backbone. But most of small farmers fail in farming due to lack of knowledge about disease and pest that are more likely to cause damage to crops. Therefore MKULIMA APP will be a solution by providing best method of controlling pest and disease and also giving advice of different pesticides and herbicide to be used. MKULIMA APP also will advise farmers about sustainable agriculture and also seeking best agriculture methods that will prevent environment from pollution by agriculture activities Lastly MKULIMA APP will provide awareness about kinds of crops that are grown for economic purposes such as sugarcane, As we all know that Agriculture is a business like other business. MKULIMA APP will also try to find market out of our country for some food crops such as maize, beans, rice, these crops are grown by almost all farmers in our country but lacks market

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problems are 1. Failure of crop production due to pest and disease ~by giving knowledge about disease and pest affecting your crops that you want to grow we will minimize these problems 2.Market problems Most of farmers in Tanzania suffer's market problem after harvesting their farm good leading to failure of many small farmers who tried to venture to agriculture, so we as MKULIMA APP will try to find market from other countries with high in need. 3. Lastly is to prevent environment pollution by minimize high use of pesticides and herbicide which have adverse effects to the environment by giving environment conservation measures.

Advantage of MKULIMA APP 1. Provide awareness to farmers about different agriculture crops, knowledge about pest and disease, nutrients required by certain crops in high quantity 2. Solution on market availability by helping farmers to export their farm products abroad 3.preventing environment pollution by agriculture activities and provide best conservation agriculture method

Target beneficiary are FARMERS We will help farmers from production to harvesting and finally selling to final consumers. Also as MKULIMA APP we want to be the best Leading application in providing education and knowledge to farmers.
