Describe your project or startup in a few words

The general idea is that an individual is able to place an order on anything he / she wants to shop via the website/ an app/ social media and that thing shall be delivered to him/ her as per her likes. It is a quick, efficient and reliable way of shopping

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

One may be asking himself on how it works. The company/ business owner shall create an app/ website / social media site containing various things one can shop starting from groceries, clothes , furnitures, houses for rent/ buying,cleaning services and anything he likes, shall have a space for indicating where it should be delivered, and the expected amount of the said good(s),after receipt of the order, the good shall be bought upon given specification by the customer and delivered to her ( payment shall be made upon receipt of the goods ordered) . This method shall save time and make shopping experience enjoyable and easy for busier people especially the workers, moms taking care of children as well as business owners with no additional costs. Also, since the world is fast moving towards technology this might be a good way to start familiarizing ourselves with new and modern ways of life, which does not harm our traditional ways of living.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Shopping is kind of headache among people, the whole experience is tiresome, therefore this business intends to provide a friendly shopping environment (using mobiles or computers), also increase efficiency and customer satisfaction

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

Major benefits include; 1. Creation of a shopping friendly environment by reducing time used in shopping as well as costs involved if one decides to go shopping him/herself( transport costs). And has a feature to make a customer personalize his / her page for the products he / she shops more often 2. It is an efficient method to manage time and it is reliable and convenient to use even for those with no experience with e-commerce platforms. 3. It is the revolutionized service and thus can be a step towards other people to engage in a similar kind of service and increase government revenue and improve technological innovation.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The project aims at serving small and medium sized business people especially on restocking their inventories and other purchases related to their businesses. Also, customers; busy workers, stay at home moms with no nannies,people who likes to stay in doors and term shopping as torture, also,people looking for buying and selling plots or apartments,and mobile shoppers.

I have one partner(female) , she is a lawyer and currently undertaking her masters degree in ICT law , she is very interested in technology for sustainable development and have been making various local researchers on how technology can improve individual income and create employment.

My project contributes by creating employment opportunities for instances the delivery people ,customer care agents and office assistants which in turn increases individual incomes and reduces dependency level and hence reduce poverty. But also, through increase access to markets where local business people are empowered and grow their business. Also, through integrating with various financial markets the government revenue increases.

The project contributes to reduce hunger by promoting local farmers which increases supply of food and distribution because the business is mainly based on delivery services. Also, during delivery we use electrical motorcycles to reduce emissions and shall engage in climate awareness initiatives but also by encouraging using eco-friendly products.

05.08 Justification

This idea is unique because around this area, people are more engaged with traditional methods of shopping, going physically to the market , but with this technology, they can do virtual shopping at the comfort of their homes. It is a new concept and may take time to convince people and make them trust this service we intend to provide . And to familiarize themselves with the concept of e-commerce and electronic payments where necessary. It will be a way to open our region to more technological advancement and new innovative ideas to make life better for every individual.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

There are personal delivery offered by businesses, this project shall stand out of them because of its diversity in service provision ( availability of different products) , there is no cost when one orders using this project and also shall.engage in promoting local business and technology integration to be able to reach a wider area but also its use of electric motorcycles shall enable quickly delivery .
