By leveraging Tanzania’s abundant natural gas reserves, the project seeks to reduce fuel costs, lower vehicle maintenance expenses, and decrease environmental pollution. Partnerships with government agencies, local businesses, and international stakeholders will be established to support infrastructure development and market adoption. The project's long-term vision includes achieving widespread CNG usage in the transportation sector, thereby contributing to economic growth, energy security, and environmental sustainability. Through this initiative, Tanzania will move towards a cleaner and more cost-effective transportation system.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem we are trying to solve is the high cost of fuel ( petrol and diesel) and its negative environmental impact in Tanzania. Petrol and diesel are expensive, burdening individuals and businesses with high transportation costs. Additionally, the combustion of these fossil fuels releases significant pollutants and greenhouse gases, contributing to air pollution and climate change. This not only affects public health but also hampers sustainable development. Our project aims to provide a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative by promoting the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) in vehicles. By expanding CNG infrastructure and facilitating vehicle conversions, we aim to reduce fuel expenses, lower vehicle maintenance costs, and decrease harmful emissions, thereby contributing to a healthier environment and a more sustainable economy.

Environmental Benefits: CNG burns cleaner than conventional fuels, emitting fewer pollutants and greenhouse gases. Our project is aimed at serving a diverse range of beneficiaries within Tanzania: 1. Consumers: Reduced transportation costs will lower the prices of goods and services, benefiting consumers across the country by making everyday products more affordable. 3.
