The main problem solved by a foundation can vary widely based on its mission, but here are five common areas of focus: 1. Poverty Alleviation: Providing resources, education, and opportunities to lift individuals and communities out of poverty. 2. Healthcare Access:Ensuring access to healthcare services, medicines, and preventive measures for vulnerable populations. 3. Education: Offering educational opportunities, scholarships, and infrastructure to improve literacy rates and empower individuals. 4. Environmental Conservation:*Protecting natural resources, biodiversity, and ecosystems through conservation efforts and sustainable practices. 5. Humanitarian Aid: Providing emergency relief, shelter, food, and support to communities affected by disasters, conflicts, or crises.

The aim of a serving charity foundation, or a grant-making foundation, is to directly serve and support charitable causes, organizations, and projects. Unlike operating foundations that directly carry out charitable activities, serving foundations primarily provides financial assistance and resources to other charitable entities. Their main goals include: 1. Grant Making: Distributing funds through grants to support a wide range of charitable initiatives, programs, and projects. 2. Capacity Building: Strengthening the capacity of nonprofit organizations by providing financial resources, technical assistance, and training programs. 3. Reviewing and formulating policies procedures and practices of the saccos operation Administration and processing loan Follow up on loan repayments Sending useful information to SACCOS members Recruiting new SACCOS members Organizing board meeting and AGM in an advisory capacity and implementing the resolution made Preparation and reporting financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and fact sheet. ) Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
