Automatic water level and sanitation controller system. Is an electronic embedded system which aims to automatically detect and control water level and sanitary in the tank.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Automatic Water level and sanitation controller system. This is a electronic system that contains sensors which will detect the water level and sanitary in the tank, the controller circuit which contains micro controller where by it has the function to control the water level and sanitary, by commanding the water pump to pump water automatically when the ultrasonic sensor has detected the water is low and to turn it off when the water is full. But also notify the user whenever water in the tank is not safe to use ( when water is contaminated) by using GSM. The notification will include the alert the user to check and clean the tank. While the water from the well will be monitored by the sensor to check if contaminated and automatically treated whenever the water is contaminated. So water will be treated before entering the tank and if the tank will contain dirt or any contamination, the sensor at the tank will sense and the user will be notified via sms through the use of GSM module.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The problem that i intend to solve is to prevent the use of contaminated water and remove the need of the user to manually control the process of water refill in the tank. Hence in Tanzania, specifically in Zanzibar the majority of people use the electrically driven water pump where by it involves the need to manually allow the water pump to pump water by turning on and off the electrical switch. The water pump normally pumps water regardless to its sanitary status. And if the water in the tank is either contaminated due to dust or dirt within it, the user wont know and might use even though the water isn't safe.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1. It ensure the use of safe water. 2. To avoiding wastage of water. 3. To avoid wastage of electricity and avoid destruction of equipment caused by overloading due to human. Error involved.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The beneficiaries are all people in every sector. Whether domestically, commercial an industrial. The water level and control system can be used at home, business places such as hotels and industries. It applicabe whenever water distribution is required

I agree that my project will contribute to the no poverty goal because when it is successful because we will be able to provide employment opportunities and as we also intend to generally get involved in drilling wells. As we have seen it will be better and beneficial if we would start to drill wells and install our electronic system so as the users can get a better and technological advanced service. We intend to give back to the society by drilling wells when our project has reached its objectives. Hence this will enable to support lives and reduce cost of living.

The Automatic water level and sanitation control system contributes to achieve this goal because it helps in making sure the water that is used is safe and healthy to use. By alerting the user whenever the water appears to be unsafe, so as they can check their water tanks and at the same time it will treat the water coming from the well before entering the tank.

The system will contribute strongly to this goal since it will measure water sanitary and PH. And automatically sanitize water whenever it tends to get contaminated. So our system wont only automatically pump water from the well to the tank according to the water level present in the tank but will also sanitize water coming from the well automatically, whenever our sensors sense any contamination. This is done so as to ensure safe and clean water

Our startup involves in designing and implementing electric and electronic embedded systems. So we initially require workshop procedures in implementing or making our own electronics circuits so as our organization grow further we will require more than an electronic workshop since we will be focusing on mass production so it will lead to the need of having our own factory were we can assemble or even manufacture our products. Our start up will contribute to the above goal since we believe in cooperating with several institutions an individuals so as we can expand and spread our compaign which is " technological revolution in Tanzania" as that is our goal as a start up. 05.08 Justification

My project idea is unique because the existing system is only electric driven , where by the user has to manually control the switch so as either to turn on the pump or off. But my system is both electrical and electronically operated. Where by we use an electronic embedded device which contains micro controller and ultrasonic sensor where by it will automatically turn on and off the pump according to the water level in the tank. And in addition my system will measure water ph were by when the water is contaminated it will send message to the user and automatically sanitize or treat the water for safe consumption.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

My competitive or potential competitors are Gowri technologies and global energy systems. I believe i stand out in front from them because my system does multiple functions and has more benefits since it does not only automatic refill water in the tank but it treats and alerts the user whenever water is contaminated so as they can check the tank and clean it. But also it tends to treat water in the well whenever contamination is sensed. But after my research here in Zanzibar and the rest of Tanzania, i cam to realization that most of people dont use the electronic systems but they use the electrical local systems so that gives me an indication according to the domestic market my system has a great chance of being a success.

Yes, i normally support my elder sister, my girlfriend and my female friends businesses. I always advise them to work hard on developing nd maintaining their business
