The bookshop/library project that is innovatively projected to revitalizing and or offsetting the obsolete traditional knowledge/education seeking system to enable the Tanzanians solving the challenges encountering the country's economic productivity.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

It is the project divided into several units, primarily, a bookshop and library, that, besides its traditional perception as the place where people merely buy and read books, it is innovated, re-created, and revitalized to become the modern tools which people can rigorous utilize to building and shaping free learners, great thinkers, Innovators and Inventors who as what history has always proved, will solve the serious new emerging challenges that the modern Tanzanian social setting is facing in the general economic productivity of the country, which in contrary the current traditional learning and education system has proved futile , due to its oddness, slipping and old fashioned nature, which is no longer catching up the pace of the modern fast growing scope and new emerging and most alarming challenges, specifically; productivity, poor education, high youth unemployment rates, poor living standards to majority and lower individual incomes to majority Tanzanians.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The project is going to solve the country's general lower economic productivity and its allies, specifically, the old fashioned knowledge and education system, high unemployment rates to majority youths and graduates, lower individual incomes and poor living standards. I must stress here that, this project as I've thought is neither meant to be any school or educational institution in just another name nor being the dark competitor of the appealing education system, but fairly challenging the oddness part of it and complementing its best part. And it is not aimed at teaching people but providing the most rigorous system that significantly 'enables' the individuals by providing them with the friendly environment, freedom, flexible, inexpensive, innovative ground in learning and education which in the long run will shape them to become the most decisive and innovative mindset oriented in finding new solutions to the most challenging issues in the society and globe at large.

Shaping Innovative mindsets, filling the missed knowledge/education gap in the society, creating the highly productive individuals from all social groups.

My project is centered at enabling the diverse social groups above, attaining the Innovative mindsets and skills which in turn will shape them to become the most productive workforce who are determined to solve the most serious challenges in the economic system. These challenges, as I mentioned before, for example, high unemployment levels to youth. This is one of the most prevalent challenges in the society, the majority of graduates especially youth remains jobless after graduation due to lack of decent jobs, which has drifted majority of them to poor living standards and hence tossing them into the pit of poverty, as majority of graduates still perceiving of earning government jobs of which are fewer than ever before, while the private sector is also not designed well to enable them creating jobs for themselves by fostering entrepreneurship. Hence this project will offset that gape by enabling them creating jobs for themselves and hence combating poverty.

Logically, hunger is caused by being in the state of poverty, since, one is not able to provide him/herself of a mere basic needs due to lack of job that would enable him earning money. Similarly, one is not able to having a job for himself as the labor market provides a slim chance for him to earn it and he cannot create it for himself as he is not prepared to be entrepreneurial. Hence by this project enabling individuals to be successful entrepreneurs(creating jobs for themselves), it will simultaneously eradicating the hunger victims for making them creating jobs for themselves.

Of the transformative impacts my project is going to realize is quality education and knowledge seeking. By quality education, is boldly defined to mean that one enabling and shaping the individuals in the society to become the Innovators who are capable of encountering the existing social challenges by creating new solutions. Contrary to the society's preoccupation and perception that quality education is necessarily acquired in the traditional educational institutions like schools and Colleges, the quality education has to be re-defined of where it should be found, since, these traditional places have proved slipping, because, it produces the graduates who every year ends up unemployed, unproductive and less capable of solving the very common challenges surrounds with them their homes let alone the general society. Hence, the library and bookshop as sharpened from its classical role played in the world of Innovation, it re-emerges to be the corner stone of quality education.

This project is not designed to automatically work to the end of gender equality, however, it inspires to go in that direction, considering the players that the project has to shape and make them fit in the economic landscape and productivity. Both genders remains crucial with the equal competitive capabilities that will make them Innovators. However, this project will significantly put the efforts in shaping the most vulnerable gender that due to historical social-economic unfavorable patterns, that they've remained weak and less empowered of unleashing their educational potentials to become the greatest Innovators in the society. Here I'm speaking about women who, in our social setting are preconceived to be as ones who can't be great thinkers, Innovators, Inventors, that's why we find few of them the our history of greatest female Inventors and problem solvers in the modern African social setting. This project is therefore looking to primarily to overcome this setback.

Definitely, this project is primarily centered at enabling these diverse social groups earning their decent jobs by shaping them to fit the world of entrepreneurs as I already explained. and in the long run it seeks at contributing to the economic growth which is depending primarily on creating the Innovative workforce which in turn will become highly productive by creating new solutions in technologies which will become a corner stone in producing new products and services according to the needs of the society of affordability and efficiency in the particular time.

It may be harder to believe how a mere library can transform the economy through the foot steps of Innovation, because it is already pre-conceived that, things like infrastructure, requires Engineers well trained from the highly profiled Universities, spending their time relentlessly experimenting in the well equipped and most expensive scientific laboratories. This is true, but half way, as the greatest scientists are not built in the class, as history shows. You never become the great engineer by a mere fact that you've stayed in the class for 4 years to earn your degree, as the class injects in you a mere instructions and bulky of theories that you can't practice them immediately after you've graduated. Rather, the great scientists are born out of the 'Innovative spark', this spark is ignited by learning the others' ideas and refining them to fit into what they seek solving. These ideas are best be found in writings, as the history on scientific and technological discoveries shows.

Verily, because, the project is centered at Innovation which play the role on creating new solutions to the new challenges that these communities and cities encounters. And this process is continuously and outlives every present generation. Hence, it enables the present communities creating the solutions that will create the better tomorrow for the next generations, like how technology works, it benefits not only the creating generation but also the upcoming ones. A good example here is the Air plane, it was invented in the late nineties century and it more likely to continue benefiting many generations to come.

For sure, the project of this nature which is defined by Innovation is at the core of partnerships by any means when it is implemented. Since the major goal is transforming the learning and education system and enabling the individuals to rigorously participating in economic productivity, along the way, we will need a mutual cooperative culture with the other players and stakeholders in the education and knowledge sector, like Schools and education Institutions, building the common platform to communicate ideas, creating mutual programs that will take all of us to the same road of reaching the goal. Apart from these stakeholders, we will need being closer with the government and its responsible ministries who will need us showing how we aligns with the education and learning policies and how we can contribute realizing our goals in the same line with the economic and developmental national goals.

05.08 Justification

This idea is unique and innovative as it is going to re-create and redefining the value. This value is associated and found within the products and services in terms of books, learning materials and equipment. We're going to make this value re-working again and fulfilling the new emerging mass desire of the society, which the old definition fell short and futile. What we see in the society is the value lost within the meaning of their present demands. For example, books have been considered for mere reading purposes intending to merely increase ones knowledge. People have never been told and showed the other roles it significant play in building ones innovative and productive capabilities in the economy. In the twenty first century which the economic productivity is getting lower, individual living standards becomes poorer, it is because the prevailing education system is no longer suitable to build the highly productive population, hence our product/service is now setting its floor.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

They are small online and traditional bookshops, retailers, suppliers, government libraries, and Schools. I will out compete them because, their projects are primarily centered at making profits and mere reading or mere knowledge increasing. While my mission is to transform the customers to become the Innovators and making the library and bookshop not only the traditional places for reading and borrowing books, but the center for Innovation and creating great thinkers.
