Seeking financial help online or offline for emergency health service costs is a burden for low-income earners. Though people and organizations want to help, trust issues arise due to scammers. To address this, we created Keya, a revolutionary mobile app.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

There are a huge number of people who fail to get proper treatment in public and private hospitals due to a lack of money to cover health service costs. These people try looking for help on social media or directly from different individuals and organizations willing to help. However, it becomes difficult because of the many fraudsters who fake problems to obtain money. Our project aims to solve this problem in two ways. First, we will provide a safe platform where people can create online charities, allowing others to contribute funds. We will ensure the funds are used for their rightful purpose by connecting with the hospitals where the funds will be allocated. In every charity, we will add 10% platform fees which will be used for company expenses and a reserved fund which will be used to cover unaffordable costs for a mother during childbirth. Second, we will connect with banks to offer simple and immediate loans through our platform for emergency health services.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Our project aims to create a secure platform where people can initiate online charity campaigns to cover emergency health service costs, allow and attract different peoples and organisations to make contribution to the funds with the safe minds and ensuring contributions are used correctly by collaborating directly with hospitals for fund allocation. Through the reserved funds, it will be used to cover Additionally, we will partner with banks to offer simple, immediate loans through our platform for emergency health services, which can be repaid in installments, providing a reliable solution for urgent healthcare needs.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

Our project have the following benefits: first it will create a secure and reliable platform where a person looking for help to cover emergency health services costs, and a person or organisation who are willing to help but who are always fearful due to fraudsters. Second, Will help low income earners to remove the financial burden which comes with huge medical bills that can not be affordable, through partnering with hospitals we will shift the financial burden to the majority who are willing to support and contribute to the funds. Third, It will help struggling financially mothers to acquire additional support for health service costs during pregnancy period to afford better health services. It will create better platform for individuals to showcase their contribution to the society as a part of corporate social responsibility (CSR), we will share on our platform total amount contributed by individuals or corporate, when they need it to be public.

We target people two groups of people First those who are financially struggling to afford huge healthcare costs and looking for help through organising charities and, Second are people and organisations who are willing to help but feared fraudsters and scammers.

05.08 Justification

There are a lot of people who are doing charities in traditional ways in Tanzania, and there are other kinds of loans banks and companies offered to people's. But our product will try to revolutionaries the way people doing charities and introduce healthcare services loan to the Tanzanian Community.

From the combinations of products, for now we don't have a direct competitors, because our platform will include everyone who seeking for help or loans to cover emergency medical expenses
