Our plastic waste recycling project focuses on converting discarded plastic into eco-friendly furniture and signage boards. By collecting plastic waste from various sources, we process and repurpose it using advanced recycling technologies. This initiative not only reduces landfill waste but also addresses environmental pollution by giving new life to plastic materials. We design and produce durable, aesthetically pleasing furniture such as chairs, tables, and benches, as well as functional and attractive signage boards for businesses and public spaces. Our project aims to promote sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of recycling. Additionally, we collaborate with local communities and organizations to encourage responsible waste management practices. By transforming plastic waste into valuable products, we contribute to a circular economy, creating jobs, and fostering innovation in recycling and manufacturing processes.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

we are addressing the overwhelming accumulation of plastic waste, which poses severe environmental and health hazards. Plastic pollution clogs landfills, pollutes oceans, and disrupts ecosystems, leading to adverse effects on wildlife and human health. Despite the increasing awareness, a significant portion of plastic waste remains unrecycled, contributing to the growing environmental crisis. Our project aims to tackle this issue by transforming plastic waste into valuable products like furniture and signage boards. By doing so, we not only reduce the volume of plastic waste but also promote sustainable practices and a circular economy. We seek to create practical solutions for managing plastic waste, raise awareness about the importance of recycling, and inspire communities to adopt more environmentally responsible behaviors. Our goal is to mitigate the detrimental impact of plastic waste on the environment and contribute to a more sustainable future.

the only partners we have are 8 groups of bottle collectors in Mwanza region and most of the are women. We have not produced any product but we have raw materials now. We are collecting them to start production
