MR GREEN POWER AND ENERGY SOLN
Describe your project or startup in a few words
An innovative solution to integrate solar perovskite PV with wind energy involves creating a hybrid renewable energy system that not only maximizes energy generation but also produces synthetic fuel (E-fuel) and supports carbon capture for hybrid vehicles
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
HYBRID ENERGY SYSTEM: Our new technology that will combine solar perovskite PV arrays with wind panels in a smart Grid system. During periods of ample sunlight, the perovskite PV panels generate electricity, while wind panels uses oscillating technology instead of rotation to produce energy during windy periods and at night. But also in circumstances where there’s no wind. This ensures continuous energy production, mitigating the intermittency of each energy source alone. It can be scaled into 2 setups; namely off-grid system and on-grid system Off-grid system operates independently. On-grid system operates by depending on the grid and can send excess power generated back to the grid and can pull off power from it. Also this Hybrid Power system will also help in Energy generation of a synthetic fuel called E-fuel whilst also supporting Carbon capture processes and utilization. So this solution will also provide an alternative source of fuel for internal combustion Engine vehicles.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
1Limited Efficiency 2High Cost The cost of manufacturing silicon solar panels is quite high, which makes them less cost-effective 3Fragility Silicon solar panels can be damaged easily 4Large Size and Weight Silicon solar panels are bulky and heavy(weigh in 20kg) which can make installation more challenging and limit applications in certain settings such as fitting them is skyscrapper windows & in high end buildings 5Temperature Sensitivity High temperatures can reduce the efficiency of silicon solar panels. 6Shading Issues Even if a small portion of a silicon solar panel is shaded it can significantly reduce the overall energy output of the panel. 7Environmental Impact pure silicon is obtained through mining hence contributing heavily on environmental degradation 8: External factors Dust & sandparticles reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the solar cells. Most solar modules are cleaned by mechanically brushing and splashing a lot of water, method is expensive & inaccessible in areas
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
1 Clean and affordable energy & power source. Serving both power and energy to the mass. 2 Incorporate both Men and women as most of it’s production and installation don’t require the use of physical strength hence reduce gender inequalities. 3It will innovate our industries, residences and the whole infrastructure by offseting both power and energy costs which have been a major conundrum to our people. 4 Develop into Sustainable cities and communities as both will benefit from using the same renewable power in creating a safe synthetic fuel which is E-fuel to be used by our communities. 5:Re- purpose our pollution back to fuel. Additionally, the vehicles can incorporate carbon capture technologies to capture and store emissions produced during combustion reducing their carbon footprint 6: Help us in reaching net zero green Climate and our Economy’s to flourish with absence of Global warming. Pave way for carbon mitigation & transportation decarbonization 7Mobile fuel station
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
1:Commercial buildings residential rooftops & Industrial applications 2:Space application 3:Transportation(aviation,shipping & Road transport) 4:Agricultural application 5:Portable electronics. pervoskites have optoelectronic properties which can be fitted in smartphones and computers 6Utility scale. Can be used in supermarkets to automatically change the prices of the product tags as soon as they hit their expiration date instead of physically changing price tags 7:Fuel station to offer E fuels 8:Street parking spaces 9:Traffic lights and digital posters on the road can be fitted with perovskites 10: power plants: Large-scale solar farms can utilize perovskite panels to generate electricity for communities or to feed into the grid. 11: Internal combustion vehicles can still use E fuels & replace use of fossil fuels 12 Hybrid vehicle Can use both E fuels and solar energy which can be stored in a battery and power it up incase E fuel is low.

05.08 Justification
It has envisioned a new technology as perovskites are the most advanced solar panel technology and have not yet started its production but also E fuels is a new clean synthetic fuel energy which outperforms fossil fuels while still having same properties allowing for same usage in internal combustion engines. It’s also a new version of an existing old technology making it usable by the old automotive industries and no need for modifications or changes.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
1. ACWA Power 2. ENGIE 3. Solarcentury 4. Windlab 5. Juwi 6. Voltalia 7. Redavia 8. BioTherm Energy 9. JinkoSolar 10. Siemens Gamesa- development and installation of wind turbines for onshore and offshore projects. 11 Mysol solar Most of them use the traditional silicon solar panels and the old wind rotating turbines whilst I use the new technology of perovskites. But also none of them have a hybrid energy power system that produces synthetic fuels which can be an alternative of fossil fuels. But also they have not incorporated mobile fuel station via vehicles but still use traditional fuel stations which can be very costful to operate due to buying plots of land and maintenance cost but also paying workers working in the serviced fuel stations.
