Techwipay is a fintech project aim at helping cameroonians to pay for goods and services faster and easier. Techwipay helps cameroonians to scan and pay for goods without internet in just seconds.Techwipay app is now available on playstore.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

In Cameroon we face a problem of coins and business are moving to accepting mobile money like MTN and Orange mobile money, but there is another problem. Over 20,000 cameroonians make errors trying to copy mobile money USSD codes and numbers daily and this has let to wrong mobile money transfer and withdraw. Scammers have also entered the business through agents, where they send wrong withdrawal messages for clients to approve and deny the act. Over 6000 cameroonians are being scammed this way on a daily basis. TechwiPay app brings the best possible solution to all this problem by automatically dialing mobile money codes and numbers of the recipient in just one Qr code scan and does transfer or withdraw in seconds without internet. The app is very easy to use, just put in the amount you want to transfer or withdraw, then scan the recievers QR code, and Techwipay app will automatically dial USSD codes needed for transfer and send the money.

Techwipay app benefits all cameroonians, both buyers and sellers, by giving them 100% mobile money transfer security. They won't do wrong mobile money transfers again and can easily pay for goods and services.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Our competitors include MTN momo app, easy momo, Orange App. The above 3 competitions require copying of mobile phone numbers while Techwipay doesn't. MTN momo and Orange app needs internet to function, while we don't. MTN MOMO app, needs signups and does OTP for every login process, this makes transactions difficult and time consuming while Techwipay doesn't send OTP, Techwipay app automatically identifies the sim in the phone and the receiver's mobile money number in seconds. The other apps have so many functions. while techwipay is unique for money transfer It takes a longer procedure to get a business QR code from MTN momo and Orange, and it can take days if not months while Techwipay takes just seconds to get a QR code. Techwipay is faster, easier and more interesting to use than other apps.
