Furies creates fun and educational board games focused on environmental issues. Our flagship game, Baharia Ninja, educates players about plastic pollution in marine ecosystems. Our mission is to inspire and educate through interactive gameplay, targeting children and young adults to foster environmental awareness early on.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Plastic waste mismanagement is a pressing environmental issue. Every year, millions of tons of plastic waste end up in the oceans, causing severe damage to marine ecosystems, wildlife, and human health. This pollution affects the food chain, disrupts marine habitats, and poses a threat to the livelihoods of communities that depend on the ocean.

· Awareness Raising: Baharia Ninja educates players about the impact of plastic waste on marine ecosystems. As plastics accumulates in the environment, it introduces toxins into the food chain as animals and fish consume microplastics which ends up in the human body leading to sickness. Hence getting people to take action by reducing plastic use, choosing alternatives an ensuring proper management of waste will lead to cleaner ecosystem, hence good health and well being.
