Describe your project or startup in a few words

ZAPP is a super app that offers different services within a single platform. It has a messaging app, food ordering app, hotel booking app, e-commerce app and I intend to add more services within the course of time.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

The super app has a simple, functional and aesthetically pleasing interface. The messaging app has a wallet icon which will enable our users to send and receive money via the messaging app eliminating the need to use sim toolkit. The hotel booking app is quite diverse. Upto now, I have only included hotels and restaurants found in Zanzibar but I have a plan to integrate different hotels and restaurants from different countries in East Africa. Although the app is in its design phase, I plan to take it to the development stage. I'm the sole designer and founder. I carried out user research by myself and used that information to design the super app. With your support, I believe that we would be able to solve user problems at large because the time of super apps is now.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I'm trying to solve user problems. Sometimes a user may find it difficult to remember the passwords that they used when signing on an app or they may not have the storage to install different app. With ZAPP, we are able to address all of that. Our clients will need one password to access all of our miniapps within ZAPP platform and less storage will be needed. The super app is easy, functional, easy to use and has aesthetically pleasing interface. With a messaging app that enables our users to send and receive money from loved ones, friends and even colleagues. An hotel booking app where they can look at different hotels within a country with their details, reviews, facilities, method of booking, and other supporting graphics. They can also order their food from different restaurant and be able to check on reviews, location, delivery time, and recipes.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

ZAPP enables users to save time since all of the services are available within a single platform. It saves on storage. Unlike single apps which would require a lot of storage to install, ZAPP contains different miniapps within one platform so it will save on storage. ZAPP offers security to their clients. It will offer at least two factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access. It is efficient and effective. ZAPP Super App has services that would be able to solve user problems in a effective and efficient manner.

ZAPP Super App is users who feel like they want their needs to be addressed and solved by using a single platform.

06.08 Justification for my startup

The super app offers so many services for our clients. It is a place where our clients would get everything when interacting with it from messaging friends and loved ones, ordering their foods, booking hotel, buying goods and services, ordering a taxi, enjoy entertainment.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

Mpesa Super App. Unlike them I have a messaging app, which has a dark mode and a light mode version of it. The messaging app has a wallet feature where our users can send and receive money within the same app. Our hotel booking app enables our users to check different hotels available in a country together with their reviews, details, method of booking, supporting graphics. It has a simple, functional and aesthetically pleasing interface. Our food ordering app will enable our users to not only order food from their favorite restaurants but also check on the recipe, and the delivery time. I'm integrating other features at the moment.
