ECO-STREAM SOLUTION
Describe your project or startup in a few words
Major cities in Africa particularly Naiorbi, face harsh wtaer stress and scarcity issues yet at the same time we receive a lot of rainfall. My solution is to make a grey water recyclying system that turns grey water into viable water for re-use.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Encouraging the use of greywater recycling systems can help reuse water from sources like sinks, showers, and washing machines for non-potable purposes like landscaping or toilet flushing. This reduces the demand on freshwater supplies and decreases the amount of wastewater produced. The project is dedicated to addressing pressing water conservation and sustainability issues, particularly in the context of urban environments like Nairobi, which are grappling with increasing water scarcity and environmental concerns. My mission is to develop and promote greywater recycling solutions as a means to alleviate water shortages, reduce water bills for households and businesses, and contribute to eco-friendly practices. Overally, the Greywater Recycling Initiative seeks to create a sustainable urban water management model that conserves water resources, supports environmental goals, and improves the quality of life for Nairobi's residents while promoting economic growth and innovation.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

06.09 Competitive Analysis
Government Initiatives: Government agencies at the local or national level may launch initiatives to address water scarcity and environmental challenges, which could include greywater recycling programs. These government-backed projects can be competitors in certain contexts. Environmental NGOs: Non-governmental organizations focused on environmental conservation may develop and implement greywater recycling projects in specific communities. They can compete by promoting and providing these systems for free or at a reduced cost in specific areas.
