The purpose of the project is to provide knowledge to the rural areas with an aim of improving livelihoods through trainings leading to self dependance by individual startups.Dependancy ratio is very high in the rural areas Kenya being a developing natio

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

The project is mainly focused in poultry farming (commercial layers)poultry farming can be practised by all ages if the knowledge is made available to the people.My objective is to provide the required information to the willing people to enable them start the business thus creating more opportunities along the chain.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Unemployment in the rural home,considering the high rates of youth moving from the rural areas to urban areas my objective is to create more opportunities through the project from maintainance ,marketing and sales. 2.Encourage more use of organic manure,chicken manure is considered as one of the best for plant nutrition this will lead to healthy production of crops in tge rurals as well as assisting in creating more opportunities along the chain. 3.Providing balanced diet.Eggs are good source of proteins my intention is to produce eggs and sell to the locals at reasonable prices considering that most of the families cannot affors a balanced diet on a daily basis.

1.produced ethically (organic eggs free from antibiotics) 2.Rich in protein content solving malnutrition in young ones and elderly. 3.affordable compared to other protain sources
