Our project aims at providing an accounting solution to sme's and also startups. The software is an accounting software that is easy to use and also aids in record keeping and providing you with financial reports to understand your business further.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Infitech Innovation is an IT solutions company formed by tech guys to provide IT skills to those in need. We specialise in web-based software solutions and also mobile and desktop app solutions. The developer team has almost four years of experience and are well equipped with the necessary IT skills.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem that we came across was the lack of a Kenya build accounting software that took into account the needs of a business in Kenya. Another problem is that the various online accounting softwares are expensive and do not really solve or interconnect your business departments. Our software gives you the ability to use a single software to monitor all your business aspects, from acquiring raw materials to dealing with taxes on sales and also full fledged accounting.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

One of the advantage is that you get to use only one software to run your business, and by doing so you get a platform where all your data is being shared internally with out the necessity of the old forms of data sharing. The other advantage is that our software gives you the ability to also create a website within it. When using our software, you do not need to have a separate website because it gives you a way of creating the website without the need of coding it. Since our software is based and designed for the Kenyan market, it is much easier to integrate the Kenyan tax into the accounting part and everything is synchronized.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

Our target market majorly includes small and medium business enterprises who do not really have the understanding of how crucial the accounting part is to the growth of a business.

We are a based in Kenya and we are glad to help the community grow with us. We believe that every human being arrive should be subject to proper basic rights and that no one should be left or neglected behind. We are currently running a community that helps and support the girl child in Mombasa and also ensure that they have the necessary skills required to set up their own small businesses to sustain them and their families.

We run our community empowerment program to those in need and don't have a way to access it. We also ensure that they get a variety of teachers to teach them different skills to face the world.

06.08 Justification for my startup

Our product is an accounting software that can be used by anyone.. There have been multiple tools to do your finances but never like ours before. It gives you the ability to interconnect your whole business departments

Zoho, Xero, Odoo, just to name a few. They are our main competitors. Though they offer nearly the same services as us, they are a bit expensive for the Kenyan market. Our product ensures that you get a home grown product that is cheaper and always accessible
