Describe your project or startup in a few words

I do daily farming which i begun one and half years ago

I have been doing daily farming for the last one and ahalf years where i started with one daily cow which was a heifer of one year three months old and after it gave birth to a bull i felt the motivation since before i have tried other farming like pork farming and it never motivated me like how daily farming has because it can sustain itself from the first day of milking unlike pork farming where you have to chip in and feed the calves for three months to get the benefit

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main priblem so far i have is getting the genuine animal feeds and mixing for myself and also having the modern infrustructure so that i can be able to expand the flock

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

With the little i get from selling the milk iam able to save and to add more flock and soon i will be able to sell the bull for beef and add maybe one or two heifers that will be a big win for me and my community

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The primary benefeciary is me but mostly it will create more jobs for my community and also help open up their minds to better opportunities in life especially to the young youths mentor

The other owner is my dad who also owns other milkers and my bigest motivation since he has done daily farming sice i was young where from my understanding some of the skills he acquired from the jomo kenyatta university then which was a college

From the community i can from most people depend on farming if i can be able to modernise my farm i will believe i will motivate them and also buy the product from them which will also create more job opportunities leading to economic growth not only for me but also my community and the youth

Introducing things like biogas from animal waste will help especially where you dine have to use firewood to cook.you dont have to cut down trees how about use the same waste to plant more trees
