Describe your project or startup in a few words

The business started a year ago and seeks to sell and maintain motorcycle and motorcycle parts. The business is made up of a shop section and a garage that reduces motorcycle waste and create employment while training technical skills to form 4 leavers.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Starting from selling in retail, the business seeks to expand and sell wholesale. Currently with 4 employees, the project seeks to employ to employ 12 more people within the next one and a half years. The project will also venture into training new mechanics from highschool and teach motorcycle drivers in the region traffic rules and road safety guidelines. With more people graduating highschool, we would like to train and equip them with technical skills to help create employment. The project also operates under a capital fund that seeks to diversify and venture into green technologies and in future be an importer of electrical motorcycles.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Creating employment for young people out of high school, teaching road guidelines and equipping motorcycle drivers and creating enough capital to fund electrical motorcycles in Kenya.

By educating motorcycle drivers on road safety and equipping them with necessary road safety tools, we help reduce road accidents associated with motorcycles By training mechanical skills to form 4 leavers who are unable to make it to college, we equip them with skills that enable them earn a living and hence improve their standards of living hence reducing adverse effects caused by mental health and drug abuse. Through maintenance of engines, we ensure machine long life span and engine management to reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere

The other owner is my elder sister who helps fund the project. She provides capital to invest in spare parts and training programs She is 31 years old financial accountant working at Kenya revenue authority

Through a trainee programme, my project shelters ambitious Kenyan youths from engaging in drug and substance abuse. Through living and dictating their lives, subscribers to my project escape adverse effects of mental instability through a sense of purpose.
