The main problem we aim to solve is the lack of sustainable and affordable energy sources in rural and urban communities. This issue contributes to environmental degradation, high carbon emissions, and poor waste management. Traditional cooking fuels like firewood and charcoal lead to deforestation and health problems due to indoor air pollution. Additionally, organic waste often ends up in landfills, generating methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Our biogas project addresses these challenges by providing a renewable energy source that mitigates environmental impact, reduces waste, and promotes better health and economic outcomes for communities.

Our startup’s biogas project is aimed at serving rural and urban communities, smallholder farmers, and local businesses. The primary beneficiaries are households that rely on traditional biomass for cooking and heating, which suffer from high fuel costs and health risks due to indoor air pollution. Additionally, farmers benefit from the organic fertilizers produced as a byproduct of biogas systems, improving soil health and crop yields.
