Our startup, Adumu Limited, focuses on providing sustainable cooking solutions to institutions that host 300 to 2000 individuals who require at least 3 meals per day These stoves utilize biodiesel derived from waste cotton seed oil, offering a clean, renewable, and affordable alternative to firewood. By targeting schools, we aim to reduce the reliance on biomass thereby combating deforestation and reducing the carbon emitted to the atmosphere as a result. Our stoves are designed for durability and efficiency, capable of significantly lowering fuel consumption and operational costs for institutions. Additionally, by utilizing waste oils, we contribute to waste reduction and promote a circular economy. Our product has undergone rigorous testing to ensure safety and performance, and we have received positive feedback from our pilot installations.

Jeremiah Mabiria is a manager, entrepreneur, and aviator with 15+ years of international experience in entertainment and logistics. He holds degrees in History and Business Administration from Canadian Union College and Excelsior University respectively. He moved back to Kenya in 2016 after almost 20 years of living, studying, and working in North America with a mission to use the knowledge and skills he had gained to bring change to the rural community he hails from through increased access to commercial opportunities and skills training.
