Describe your project or startup in a few words
Since styrofoam is in non-biodegradable and mostly comes packaged with items we buy in furniture store and takeaways ;I intend to make crafts out of styrofoam to reuse it into art canvas and turning it into glue so that I use it on more crafts like boxes.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Every time someone buys a fridge and other appliances and they are used in takeaway packaging (Which are used at various events) they stay in the environment without degrading. By making canvas paintings out of them will allow them to create room deco and cause no harm. The other parts of can be turned into glue and I can use it for further crafts of which I can sell at an affordable price. However, since I have experience in creating content I intend to invest in a YouTube channel specifically for teaching people how to use this styrofoam to their benefit and make crafts out of them instead of throwing it away in the environment. In the area where I live in,the styrofoam is used to make fire or it is fed to the chickens and it’s not healthy to the chickens and to us who will consume the chickens. If we where to let people know that styrofoam can be used for room decoration and other crafts ,we will be in a better earth.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Styrofoam causes both air and land pollution. I am reducing pollution, thus global warming. Items that are non biodegradable are mostly burned which emits greenhouse gases and result in global warming. At many times they are thrown away on the ground by children who were playing with them and end up being eaten by animals and since it’s indigestible, animals can die. However if we could just paint this styrofoam and make it a canvas,it will stay on the wall till your great great children are born . The styrofoam canvas will stay on the walls without harming someone. And the children can watch videos on how to use them as crafts.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
1. Reduction of air pollution/land pollution. 2. Generates income /employment (selling styrofoam art canvas) 3. Can be used as glue for further arts and crafts
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
1. Every one that has a room would want to have room decor at an affordable fee ,students and working class etc. 2.The whole planet,if people knew that something causes harm and there’s no solution. They will stay stagnant In assistance purposes. However,if they know that if I buy a fridge I can use the flat styrofoam to make a canvas,or donate it or sell it at a styrofoam canvas making company. They won’t throw them away or feed them to chickens or let the children play with them. 3. Party organizers, our project managers will be responsible for collecting the takeaways after people are done eating and we will wash and recycle them into glue and other crafts

Municipality ,furniture stores ,graphic designers ,media companies can work together to ensure that flyers are designed and given to customers when buying a fridge or other items that contain styrofoam. The media can publish the styrofoam innovative ideas and encourage people to put it to good use. The municipality can partner up to encourage separation of styrofoam products and for people to submit/donate them to styrofoam oriented projects.

Styrofoam is lightweight and can hang on the wall easily if made a canvas or painting. It will be hanging on the wall as a visually appealing and your great great grandchildren are born instead of it being in the environment and being a threat to animals and combustion activities.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
Shops that sell canvases and other crafts, I stand out because my paintings can stick on the walls with double sided tape and won’t fall. This is due to low mass of my products. The other painting are likely to be heavier and need more work to hand on walls. The other room decor use expensive/rare materials making them costly and mine affordable.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Currently I have a small business of cooking that I am pursuing .
