01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Our company, ‘Africa Brandberg Investments cc’, has been creating animated content for marketing and information for various clients around Namibia for over a year, and we have recently decided to venture into creating value for children through educational content. Through entertaining episodes featuring the adventures of main character Hilifa and his friends, we deliver valuable lessons on Branding, Investing, Innovation, Networking, Financing, Team building, and Collaboration amongst many other things. We provide a fun and engaging way for children to learn essential entrepreneurial skills that are increasingly relevant in today's world. By watching our show, children not only enjoy entertaining content but also gain practical knowledge that can empower them to succeed in the future. Parents and educators benefit from a trusted resource that supplements traditional education with real-world business insights, helping children develop valuable skills for life.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Our business idea addresses the pressing need for accessible and engaging educational content focused on teaching entrepreneurial skills to children aged 8-15. Leveraging the popularity of digital platforms like YouTube and the alarming high unemployment rate among Namibian youth, our innovative approach aims to instill a culture of entrepreneurship early in children's lives. Through an entertaining animated kids' show featuring relatable characters and valuable lessons, we seek to empower children with the skills and mindset needed for future success, while also contributing to economic growth and job creation in Namibia. We aim to build brand loyalty amongst parents and children to a point where we can expand into merchandising, events, exhibitions for kids as well as subscriptions to exclusive content.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Early Childhood development: By creating a show that teaches entrepreneurship skills to children, we are able to instill vital business skills into young minds from a young age. This will be able to shape their talents, skills and eventually their careers. Redefining Edutainment and bridging the attention gap: We are living through the digital era where our children are consuming so much information, thus we have a responsibility to ensure that the quality of information being consumed can create value for our future generations. With the demand for local educational content on the rise and the potential for recurring viewership, our animated kids' show stands to be successful and profitable in capturing the attention of children and parents alike. Economic development: By addressing the urgent need for entrepreneurship education in Namibia and contributing to youth empowerment and economic development, our project aligns with societal needs and has potential to make an impact.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Our target customers are parents, educators, and organizations focused on children's education and development, specifically those with children aged 8-17. Our best customer is a proactive parent who prioritizes their child's education and development, seeking innovative and engaging ways to instill essential entrepreneurial skills from a young age. By attending kids exhibitions and events featuring our animated kids' show with their children, this parent provides their child with valuable learning experiences while also fostering a sense of curiosity and creativity. As the child engages with our entertaining and educational content, the parent sees the value in further supporting their learning journey by purchasing merchandise such as branded goodies, books, and educational materials. This will go hand in hand with the viewership. Through these transactions, our company generates revenue not only from streaming and marketing, but also from merchandise purchases, event ticket sales.

Our main potential competitors include popular children's entertainment platforms and educational content providers. In the digital era, the shortened attention span of consumers, especially children, means they are bombarded with vast amounts of information, much of which lacks substantial value. Unlike our competitors, we stand out by offering engaging, animated educational content that focuses on entrepreneurship. This not only captivates children's attention but also provides valuable skills and knowledge. By combining entertainment with practical business lessons, we address the critical need for meaningful, impactful content, setting us apart in a saturated market and fostering a generation of innovative, empowered youth.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes. As an entrepreneur, I promote female entrepreneurship through collaboration especially since most children programs are women led. Our project also aims to collaborate with local schools to introduce young girls to entrepreneurship early, fostering interest and breaking gender stereotypes. Additionally, most of the clients for our marketing arm are young women. Working and sharing resources, skills and ideas with women doesn't only promote inclusivity and equality but also creates a supportive environment that empowers a look into different perspective, approach to business and a diverse possibility of project outcomes.
