01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Junior Agripreneur Hub Africa (JAHA) is a youth led private organization with a social intent to prepare students to sustainably feed the world by imparting life skills and entrepreneurship skills through agriculture. We identify and place students with their talents in the Agriculture Value Chain Business and Career Opportunities. Our aim is to ensure that every learner from Primary to Secondary Schools in urban,, peri-urban and rural areas have access to quality modern agriculture education that inspires them to join the food system value chain and create value. We teach life Skills and entrepreneurship through agriculture. We prepare Young Africans to feed the world by: 1.Identifying and developing their entrepreneurial competitive skills. 2.Placing them in the Agriculture Value Chain careers and Business opportunities.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Slow adoption of Climate Smart Agricultural Technology and Innovation in African Agriculture. 2. The apathy of youth and women towards agriculture education learning systems and development of entrepreneurial skills. 3. Lack of project based learning and entrepreneurship in agriculture education in schools that promotes innovation.

Project-based learning in Climate Smart Agriculture and entrepreneurship in schools. We are exposing youths to Agriculture Tech relevant in the 4th Industrial Revolution. A modern flexible curriculum that creates helps students generate Value in the Agric sector.

We are targeting Primary and secondary learners as well as school leavers from ages 18-35.

06.08 Justification for my startup
We offer project based learning and add the much need extra curricula life skills to the youth. We help learners create value from the ubiquitous african soils and water.

Our main potential competitors include other kids educational programs such as STEM academies offering coding and robotics courses. What sets us apart is our holistic integration of agriculture, entrepreneurship, and technology in a single curriculum tailored for young learners. Our emphasis on hands-on learning, from growing crops to financial planning, ensures students gain practical experience and essential life skills. Additionally, our program’s unique blend of coding, drone technology, and financial literacy, coupled with active community engagement, fosters a comprehensive understanding of modern agriculture and business practices, preparing students to be innovative leaders in the agribusiness sector.
