We are a small farm enterprise that's aiming to provide fresh organically grown vegetables to the Zambian population. Our vision is to help lower the cost of production so that consumers can have a direct benefit by providing them with affordable food

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

HOME GROWN ASSURED FRESH FARMS LTD Our aim is to empower our local community through both direct and indirect jobs whilst providing them with healthy and affordable vegetables.. We've implementated an idea of growing cheap vegetables through the usage of organic methods that include chicken manure and organic pesticides that have inturn lowered our cost of production. It's through this cost saving measures that we are now able to empower local youths through provision of cheaper vegetables which they inturn resale to the community in

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

By offering our vegetables at a cheaper price we are tackling nutritional issues in our community and also contributing to constant household incomes for the women who buy the produce from us. Job security,income security and healthy homesteads.

Job security By been productive it only means that we shall create more secure jobs for the local community Income security As long as we produce more and more women will buy from us and this will ensure constant income for them. Nutritional aspects A healthy community is a wealthy community.our vegetables are grown using only safe biological pesticides and organic fertilizer in chicken manure meaning the consumers are safe and healthy

The many jobless youths and women who do not have access to financing options or packages..as we cheaply grow our produce our intend beneficiaries the youths and women will afford to buy at very low wholesale prices and resale for a reasonable income..
