SAWD (Save African Wild Dog) is a dedicated initiative focused on the conservation of the African wild dog, one of the continent's most endangered species. By working closely with communities near protected areas.

Save African Wild Dog (SAWD) aims to address several key problems through its conservation and community-focused initiatives: 1. **Biodiversity Loss**: By protecting the African wild dog, SAWD helps maintain biodiversity and the ecological balance within ecosystems where these predators play a crucial role. 2. **Human-Wildlife Conflict**: SAWD works to reduce conflicts between local communities and wild dogs by promoting coexistence strategies and providing alternative livelihoods, thereby reducing the need for harmful retaliatory actions against the animals. 3. **Economic Insecurity**: Through livelihood projects like goat keeping, honey production, and smart agriculture, SAWD helps improve the economic stability of communities living near wildlife areas, providing them with sustainable income sources. 4. **Environmental Degradation**: Smart agriculture initiatives promoted by SAWD encourage environmentally friendly farming practices that help preserve natural habitats.
